SHANGHAI, May 19 (SMM) - The production of some smelters such as Anhui Huabo and Shandong Zhongqing will recover in May, while others such as Hubei Jinyang and Xinzi will undertake maintenance. The production of some smelters in Inner Mongolia will be constrained by raw material shortages or cash crunch. SMM estimates that the domestic secondary lead production will be around 340,000 mt this month and the average operating rate will rise 5.02 percentage points MoM to 56.12%.
Operating Rates Of Secondary Lead Smelters To Rebound In May
