SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) - The prices of battery separator fell slightly last week.

SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) - The prices of battery separator fell slightly last week. Falling raw material prices reduced the costs of battery separator, with bigger decline in wet-process coated separator than dry-process separator. Some battery cell factories have raised their production schedules and started to stock up battery separator, driving separator manufacturers to increase production schedules as well. However, with raw material costs falling and battery cell companies trying to bring down purchase prices, battery separator prices will still face downward pressure.
