Ningbo Port: Empty Containers Accounted For About 30% Of Container Transport Last Year And The First Quarter Of This Year

At the 2022 annual performance briefing of Ningbo Port held today, Shi Huanting, director and deputy general manager of Ningbo Port, said that empty containers accounted for about 30% of container transport last year and the first quarter of this year.

In terms of dry bulk cargo, Jiang Wei, the secretary of the company's board of directors, said that the loading and unloading volume of the company's dry bulk cargo at Ningbo Port remained stable in the first quarter of this year, and the loading and unloading volume of iron ore and mining construction materials has exceeded the schedule requirements.

The second and third quarters are the traditional peak seasons for port transport, and it is expected to continue to maintain a steady growth.
