Customs Data: China Unwrought Aluminium Alloy Import & Export in March and Q1

SHANGHAI, Apr 24 (SMM) - According to customs data, the import of unwrought aluminium alloys in March 2023 was 98,300 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 18.5% but a month-on-month increase of 11.8%. From January to March 2023, the cumulative import was 267,200 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 18.8%.

In March 2023, the export volume of unwrought aluminium alloys was 19,700 mt, a year-on-year increase of 7.5% but a month-on-month decrease of 6.2%. From January to March, the cumulative export was 57,000 mt, a year-on-year increase of 50.3%.
