China Will Accelerate Digital Transformation Of Finance and Construction Of New Information Infrastructure

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) held a video conference on scientific and technological work in 2023.

The meeting called for strengthening overall planning and coordination, accelerating the construction of new information infrastructure, improving the quality of system development and operation, improving the level of data collection, sharing and analysis applications, and promoting the improvement of technology-enabled business quality and efficiency.

Efforts will be made in the following aspects: strengthen financial network security management, and ensure business continuity; accelerate the digital transformation of finance, and strengthen the supply and implementation of financial standards; strengthen investigation and research and improve the level of scientific and technological services.
