John C. Williams, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, said that US inflation is still too high and that the US Federal Reserve will take action to reduce price pressures.
Williams predicts that it may take two years to reach the 2% inflation target, and inflation is expected to drop to 3.25% this year.
