Hall displaying electric cars at the ongoing Shanghai Auto Show (April 18-27) is a key battleground, as car makers are racing to catch up with Chinese competitors in the EV market.
Buick is presenting its all-electric Electra E5, which the company said was developed based on the insights of mainstream Chinese consumers. One of the company’s executives said in an interview with ICS: “Chinese consumers love their spaciousness in the second rear seat. Chinese customers are well connected, so we have 5G and we have our Super Cruise. Our technology was thought deeply to cater and care about the local customers.”
