SHANGHAI, Apr 18 (SMM) - SMM estimates that China’s primary lead output will drop more than 10,000 mt MoM in April, and the average operating rate will fall 2.6 percentage points to 68.52%. The output growth brought about by some smelters in Hunan and Henan resuming production will be more than offset by sharp output reduction caused by maintenance at large smelters in Henan and Yunnan. Some smelters plan to undertake routine maintenance, which will last until May.
