SHANGHAI, Apr 13 (SMM) - Aluminium fluoride bid prices were lowered to 8,900 yuan/mt in April. Aluminium fluoride prices continued to drop in the period of March 11-April 10.

SHANGHAI, Apr 13 (SMM) - Aluminium fluoride bid prices were lowered to 8,900 yuan/mt in April. Aluminium fluoride prices continued to drop in the period of March 11-April 10. SMM aluminium fluoride prices stood between 9,000-10,000 yuan/mt as of April 10, versus 6,500-7,900 yuan/mt for cryolite.

Production resumptions by aluminium smelters in Sichuan and Guizhou will provide limited boost to aluminium fluoride demand. Abundant supply will leave aluminium fluoride prices vulnerable to decline in the near term.
