China Rare Earth Exports Advanced in First Two Months of 2023

Total rare earth exports from January to February 2023 stood at 7,391.2 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%. Exports of rare earth permanent magnets were 8,111 mt, a drop of 5%.

Total rare earth exports from January to February 2023 stood at 7,391.2 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%. Exports of rare earth permanent magnets were 8,111 mt, a drop of 5%.

While supply of rare earth continued to increase, the orders of magnetic material enterprises were subdued due to the slow recovery of domestic and overseas downstream demand.
