CITIC Securities report pointed out that the US Fed raised interest rates by 25 basis points at the March meeting as expected. Powell said the recent banking meltdown would lead to a tightening of credit, which could reduce the rate hikes. CITIC Securities believes that the US Fed will be more cautious in raising rates in the future. And whether to raise interest rates at the May meeting will be highly dependent on the evolution of the banking crisis, employment and inflation data.
