SHANGHAI, Mar 3 (SMM) - The premiums of pellets continued to drop slightly this week, while those of lumps rose.

SHANGHAI, Mar 3 (SMM) - The premiums of pellets continued to drop slightly this week, while those of lumps rose. In order to combat heavy air pollution, the sintering machines of steel mills in many parts of Hebei were subject to production restrictions for 3-5 days. This slightly boosted the demand for lumps. Production restrictions on sintering machines will probably escalate if air quality worsens during the “Two Sessions”, which will allow the demand for lumps to grow further.
