SHANGHAI, Feb 20 (SMM) - Copper rods produced with scrap have been more popular among most electric wire and cable plants against high absolute copper prices and when end-user consumption is hard to predict, especially as new orders after CNY holiday underperformed the same period of past years.

The consumption of copper rods produced with scrap continued to suppress the consumption of those produced with copper cathode.
