WBMS: Global Refined Nickel Market is in a Supply Deficit of 60,500 mt in 2022

The latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) showed that in December 2022, the global refined nickel output stood at 260,700 mt, and the consumption volume was 267,100 mt. The global refined nickel market was in a supply deficit of 6,400 mt.

The latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) showed that in December 2022, the global refined nickel output stood at 260,700 mt, and the consumption volume was 267,100 mt. The global refined nickel market was in a supply deficit of 6,400 mt.

In 2022, the total global refined nickel output was 3 million mt, while the consumption volume was 3.06 million mt, with a supply deficit of about 60,500 mt.

Global nickel ore output was 276,900 mt in December 2022, and that in 2022 stood at 3.22 million mt.
