SHANGHAI, Feb 16 (SMM) - Prices of #6517 silicon-manganese were 7,250-7,300 yuan/mt in north China markets in cash, flat from the previous trading day; those in south China markets moved between 7,400-7,450 yuan/mt; those in Guizhou were 6517-7400 yuan/mt. According to SMM, the oversupply weighed on the silicon-manganese prices. However, considering the high costs, the downside of silicomanganese was limited. In the short term, the EMM prices may decline slightly.
