[SMM Flash] PBT to Invest $350M in Ternary Cathode Precursor Project in Indonesia

Dinglong has filed an application for an H-share listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Alongside its semiconductor materials business, the company has continued to expand its presence in new energy materials. Earlier this year, Dinglong acquired a 70% stake in Shenzhen Haofei New Materials, a leading supplier of dispersants for lithium batteries used in electric vehicle and energy storage applications, further strengthening its lithium battery materials portfolio.

UK battery recycling company Altilium has secured funding under the UK government's Battery Innovation Programme to lead the REMADE project alongside Nyobolt, Talga Group and a leading automotive OEM. The project aims to establish a domestic closed-loop supply chain for low-carbon battery anode materials by recycling graphite and niobium tungsten oxide (NWO) from end-of-life batteries and manufacturing scrap. The initiative is expected to support sustainable battery production, strengthen the UK's battery supply chain and reduce reliance on imported critical materials.

Ronbay Technology expects net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 1.0-1.2 billion for the first half of 2026, compared with a loss a year earlier. The company said earnings recovered on the back of stronger demand in the new energy sector. During the period, its ternary cathode business improved profitability with higher overseas shipments, while its LMFP cathode business reached full production and sales. Its sodium-ion cathode materials also entered the stage of large-scale commercial shipments.
