[SMM PV Flash]Advanced manufacturing moves towards "green", and Canadian Solar Inc. helps Lianxun Instruments build a green energy system.

Published: Jul 3, 2026 13:11

Driven by the enterprise’s need to continuously enhance its green manufacturing capabilities and energy utilization efficiency, the 271.32 kW distributed PV project of Suzhou Lianxun Instrument Co., Ltd., constructed by the Canadian Solar Inc. China distributed EPC team, has been officially connected to the grid and is generating electricity. The project is located in the Suzhou High-tech Zone. Canadian Solar Inc. provides a one-stop EPC service covering solution design, engineering construction, power supply procedures, grid connection acceptance, and smart operation and maintenance, creating a safe, efficient, and stable green energy system for the enterprise and continuously supporting its green and low-carbon development.

The project has a total installation area of approximately 2,600 m², with 456 Canadian Solar Inc. high-efficiency N-type modules installed, and a total installed capacity of 271.32 kW. The project adopts a mature and reliable system solution, optimized in combination with the enterprise’s stable daytime electricity consumption characteristics. While enhancing system operation stability, this achieves on-site consumption of PV power and improves overall energy utilization efficiency.

2026 H1 Polysilicon Market Analysis and Outlook — Prices Hit New Lows; Follow-up Focus on Costs and Policies [SMM Analysis]
[SMM Analysis: Looking back at H1 2026, the polysilicon market, due to prominent overcapacity issues compounded by historical inventory and other factors, although occasionally rebounding on the back of policy expectations, the overall downward "downtrend" persisted. Looking ahead to H2 2026, SMM believes that from the supply-demand or capacity side, it is difficult to see significant spontaneous improvement. Key focus areas are policy expectations and cost dynamics—cost determines the price floor, while policy determines the price trend.

[SMM Analysis] Intersolar 2026 Review: Europe’s PV Growth Slows as Policy and Returns Reshape Market Logic
Since the start of the year, growth in the European solar market has slowed markedly. SMM expects total new solar installations in the European market to fall to around 68.5GW in 2026, a year on year decline of about 2 percent. Alongside softening demand, multiple EU level supply chain restriction policies continue to advance, including the Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA), the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA), and restrictive measures targeting inverters from so called high risk countries.
