【SMM Flash News】 Nickel Industries Recommences Operations at Hengjaya Mine Following ESDM Investigation

Nickel Industries Limited has announced the resumption of mining activities at its Hengjaya Mine in Indonesia after the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) successfully concluded its investigation into a recent site accident. While mining operations have restarted to ensure ore supply, the company and its partner, PT Fajar Metal Industry, are continuing to coordinate closely with authorities to safely recommence construction on the specific segment of the ENC transmission lines where the incident occurred. This restart marks a key step in normalizing operations for one of the region’s primary nickel assets following the temporary suspension in late March.
