[SMM Daily Comment: Market Buying and Selling Remained Sluggish, High-Grade NPI Price Center Declined] April 7 — The SMM high-grade NPI upstream sentiment factor was 2.72, up 0.03 MoM, and the high-grade NPI downstream sentiment factor was 1.49, flat MoM.

April 7 News, the SMM high-grade NPI market sentiment factor was 2.1, up 0.01 WoW, the high-grade NPI upstream sentiment factor was 2.72, up 0.03 WoW, and the high-grade NPI downstream sentiment factor was 1.49, flat WoW. Supply side, the upstream offer center continued to drop slightly, and the market had not yet fully recovered as the Qingming Festival had just ended. Demand side, recent major buying interest remained concentrated on high nickel unit cargoes, and overall demand was relatively sluggish. Overall, the market remained sluggish, and the overall transaction center continued to drop slightly.
