SMM reported on January 23: According to unofficial market sources, the recent public inquiry and purchase of 6 mt of selenium dioxide by Jingxi Danan Manganese Industry Co., Ltd. was successfully concluded through a tender. The winning bidder was an enterprise from Hunan, with a final transaction price of around 135 yuan/kg. This tender has led to an increase in current market quotations for selenium dioxide, with many suppliers indicating that, following the significant rise in the price of crude selenium, selenium dioxide will not be sold below 140 yuan/kg.
