[SMM Lithium Battery Electrolyte Market Weekly Review: This week's electrolyte prices remained stable (6.22-6.25)] From June 22 to June 25, 2026, electrolyte prices remained stable. Future electrolyte market price trends still need to be continuously monitored for raw material price fluctuations and their transmission.

SMM June 25 news:

Electrolyte market prices stabilized this week. Among them, the average prices for ternary power, LFP, and LMO electrolytes were 29,350 yuan/mt, 27,600 yuan/mt, and 21,900 yuan/mt, respectively. Cost side, lithium carbonate prices fell sharply this week, with lithium fluoride following suit and weakening, causing a noticeable loosening in LiPF6’s cost support. At the same time, uncertainty over future lithium carbonate price fluctuations led to a strong wait-and-see sentiment among electrolyte enterprises, weak willingness to purchase, and subdued market transactions, which caused LiPF6 prices to continue to pull back. The additive market gradually strengthened—affected by unexpected events, some VC producers’ shipments were impacted, and combined with already low industry inventories, spot supply tightened. Downstream inquiries became active, and producers showed strong willingness to raise prices, driving VC prices higher. Overall, electrolyte prices remained stable this week. On one hand, producers mainly consumed previously stockpiled raw materials, with only small restocking for essential needs, so fluctuations in upstream raw materials had a limited impact on overall electrolyte costs. On the other hand, price transmission in the industry chain lags, meaning upstream raw material price changes have not been fully reflected in electrolyte product prices, keeping the product prices stable for now. Supply-demand side, new energy vehicle orders continued to materialize, and market demand gradually recovered; this was coupled with stable rigid demand for energy storage. These dual positives drove downstream battery cell enterprises to raise production schedules, with electrolyte production increasing accordingly. Overall, the future electrolyte market price trend will still need to be closely monitored in relation to raw material price fluctuations and their transmission.
