[Solar PV: Arizona Sun Pond Solar+Storage Begins Operations]

The Oregon Department of Energy will reopen its rebate program on June 15 with $1.1 million in remaining funds. Homeowners can receive up to $5,000 for solar and $2,500 for storage, while low-income service organizations are eligible for up to $30,000 and $15,000 respectively. The program, paused since 2024, now also supports storage-only additions to existing systems through approved contractors to reduce upfront costs.

Meta and EDPR NA signed a long-term PPA for the 250 MW Cypress Knee Solar project in Arkansas. Targeted for completion by 2028, the project supports Meta’s 100% renewable energy goal. This third agreement between the two firms brings their total contracted capacity to 545 MW. The project is expected to generate $25 million in local revenue and create regional jobs while adding significant new generation capacity.
