【SMM Steel】Hoa Phat Da Nang Steel Pipe is fast-tracking a new 5.2 MW rooftop solar power project for 2026 to increase clean energy self-sufficiency, lower production costs, and cut CO₂ emissions. The factory also plans to upgrade its acid fume extraction system and standardize HRC warehouse layouts. Hoa Phat Da Nang Steel Pipe currently holds a 35% market share in Vietnam with 1.2 Mt/y capacity, meeting ASTM/JIS standards and reaching global markets.

【SMM Steel】The U.S. OCTG Manufacturers Association, United Steelworkers, and U.S. Steel filed a complaint with the USDOC against Taiwan, UAE, and Austria for OCTG dumping. The USDOC should initiate a probe in April, with preliminary injury in mid-May, preliminary subsidy in Sep, and preliminary dumping in Nov. Taiwanese mills have not received notifications, but uncertainty has led US distributors to postpone new purchases, with a shift toward a more conservative approach.
