China's Prebaked Anode Production Rises 8.57% YoY in H1 2026, Driven by High Operating Rates

[SMM Aluminum Flash] According to SMM statistics, China’s cumulative total production of prebaked anode in H1 2026 reached 12,398,800 mt, up 8.57% YoY. The industry’s overall operating rate stayed high during H1, with new commissioned units gradually releasing capacity and mainstream carbon plants largely maintaining regular production, driving a steady rise in total output.
