Baiyin Nonferrous Group Launches 66-Tonne Refined Cadmium Auction with Discounted Reserve Price

SMM, June 22 — According to SMM, the Third Smelter of Baiyin Nonferrous Group has launched a public tender today for 66 tonnes of Grade 1 refined cadmium. Per the official announcement, the reserve price is set at a discount of 500 yuan per tonne to the prevailing market price, with the highest bidder winning. A minimum of three registered participants is required for the auction to proceed. The registration deadline is 17:00 on June 24, 2026, with bidding commencing at 15:00 on June 25, 2026.
