Han's Laser Reports 45% Growth in Lithium Battery Equipment Revenue in H1

Enchem announced on July 10 that it will introduce an AI-based R&D system specialized in liquid electrolyte design through cooperation with AI company Aistar. The company aims to advance the development of next-generation battery electrolytes for special environments, including ultra-low-temperature and high-output applications.

Hyundai Engineering announced on July 8 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Washington, D.C. on July 7 local time to carry out procurement work for the Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project being developed by Australian critical minerals developer Ioneer. The project, worth around USD 2 billion, or about KRW 3.1 trillion, will be developed at the Rhyolite Ridge mine in Nevada, the United States.

L&F announced on July 7 that it has carried out a two-year project since 2024 to build an ABB smart factory, based on AI, big data and blockchain, at its Guji Plant 1 in Daegu. In the first year, the company established data collection infrastructure across all processes and a data-based operating system. In the second year, it completed the establishment and verification of LCA and blockchain systems, as well as the introduction and testing of AI-based quality and equipment prediction models. L&F is currently expanding application by production line and conducting stabilization work, with the goal of operating the system across the entire plant.
