Capchem expects H1 2026 net profit of RMB 970 million-1.03 billion, up 100%-113% YoY. The company said robust demand from the energy storage and EV battery markets drove strong growth in battery chemicals sales and profitability.

L&F announced on July 7 that it has carried out a two-year project since 2024 to build an ABB smart factory, based on AI, big data and blockchain, at its Guji Plant 1 in Daegu. In the first year, the company established data collection infrastructure across all processes and a data-based operating system. In the second year, it completed the establishment and verification of LCA and blockchain systems, as well as the introduction and testing of AI-based quality and equipment prediction models. L&F is currently expanding application by production line and conducting stabilization work, with the goal of operating the system across the entire plant.
