Sichuan's Lithium-Ion Battery Output Surges 57.2% in January-May 2026

According to data released by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the province's value-added industrial output above designated size increased 6.0% year-on-year in the first five months of 2026. By product category, lithium-ion battery output rose 57.2% year-on-year, while smart TVs, integrated circuits, industrial robots, and LCD panels increased by 59.2%, 18.4%, 12.3%, and 9.3%, respectively.

Yinghe Technology announced plans to acquire a 100% stake in Aonhua (Shanghai) Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. for Yuan 204 million.
