L-H Battery Company, the U.S. joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Honda, announced on July 3 that it began mass production of lithium-ion battery cells for ESS at its plant in Jeffersonville, Fayette County, Ohio, on July 2 local time.

West Africa's Largest Lithium Processing Plant Starts Operations

West Africa's largest lithium processing plant has officially commenced operations in Nigeria's Nasarawa State. The facility has a designed processing capacity of 6,000 tonnes of lithium ore per day, equivalent to around 30,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) annually.
