Porsche China Closes 4 More Dealerships, After-Sales Services Unaffected

Published: Jun 30, 2026 19:07
On June 30, Porsche centers in Jining (Shandong), Huai'an (Jiangsu), and Xingning, Nanning (Guangxi) terminated their sales operations, while the Porsche center in Wuhu (Anhui) will end sales on July 31. However, after‑sales services at all four locations will continue to operate normally. Porsche China stated that the move is part of its dealer network streamlining plan, adhering to a "quality over quantity" strategy and shifting from previous expansion to a focus on profitability and efficiency. By 2025, Porsche had already reduced its dealer count in China from 150 to 114, and expects to further optimize it to around 80 in 2026. Porsche CEO Michael Leiters recently said that the company must remain profitable even if sales volume declines.
