[Japan's Auto Exports to Middle East Plunged 90% in April] Data released by the Japanese government showed that Japan's auto exports to the Middle East in April plunged 90% in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, mainly due to the US-Israel war against Iran disrupting key shipping routes for automakers such as Toyota and Nissan. The data showed that the Middle East accounted for approximately 14% of Japan's global auto exports.
