According to CCTV News, the International Energy Agency's *2026 Global Electric Vehicle Outlook* report released on the 20th stated that amid the energy crisis, governments and consumers are accelerating the shift toward EVs. Global EV sales are expected to reach 23 million units in 2026, accounting for nearly 30% of global new vehicle sales. The report showed that global EV sales in 2025 were up 20% YoY, surpassing 20 million units for the first time and accounting for a quarter of global new vehicle sales.
