SMM, March 24: According to an official announcement from a Hunan-based company, bidding for the sale of 600 physical metric tons of bismuth concentrate from its operations for March 2026 will begin today. The deadline for bidding registration and quotation submission is 10:00 a.m. on March 26. Specifications: 18% ≤ Bi < 45%, 15% ≤ H₂O < 25%, Ag approximately 200–600 grams, Au approximately 1.5 grams. The final settlement quantity will be based on actual on-site weighing. This batch of 600 physical metric tons of bismuth concentrate is currently stored in the company's warehousing center. According to the official announcement, there will be only one bidding session for the 600 physical metric tons, and the settlement quantity will be based on actual on-site sampling and weighing. The winning bidder is required to take delivery within three working days after winning the bid. The minimum bid price for this auction is set at 130,600 yuan per metal ton. Bids below this threshold will be considered invalid. Given that the bidding window is only two days, market participants speculate that the likelihood of a successful transaction is relatively high.
