500 kV Bozhou Wenli Project Energizes Northern Anhui, Boosts Renewable Energy Integration

On April 8, the first 500 kV project completed in the northern Anhui region during the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" - the Bozhou Wenli 500 k V power transmission and transformation project - started power transmission. This project is a key grid project for the transmission of new energy, which is the focus of the State Energy Administration. After the completion of the project, it will be used as the hub transformer of the Bozhou power grid and the main power source of 220 kV in the Qiaocheng area, which will enhance the power supply capacity of north-west Anhui and the Bozhou area, increase the on-grid and off-grid capacity of new energy power generation by about 700,000 kilowatts, and inject strong momentum into the construction of the Bozhou "carbon peak" pilot city.
