Gansu-Zhejiang UHV DC Project's Gansu 3 Section Completes, Marking First Milestone in 22-Section Plan

On March 24, in Qin'an County, Gansu Province, the ± 800 kV Gansu-Zhejiang UHV DC transmission project Gansu 3 section was completed, becoming the first completed section of the 22 sections of the project. It is reported that the Gansu-Zhejiang ± 800 kV UHV DC transmission project is a key project of the national "west-to-east power transmission". At the same time, it is the world's first UHV DC transmission project with flexible DC transmission technology at both ends of the sending and receiving ends. The line starts in Wuwei, Gansu, and ends in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, passing through Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui, and Zhejiang provinces, with a total length of 2,370 kilometers.
