OpenAI Completes $110B Financing Round, Valued at $730B with Amazon and NVIDIA Partnerships

On the evening of February 27, Beijing time, OpenAI announced the completion of a new round of financing, with a pre-money valuation reaching $730 billion and a total financing amount of $110 billion. This includes $30 billion from SoftBank, $30 billion from NVIDIA, and $50 billion from Amazon.

OpenAI stated that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Amazon and finalised next-generation inference computing support with NVIDIA. As this round of financing progresses, more financial investors are expected to join.

Since the beginning of this year, weekly active users of Codex have more than tripled, reaching 1.6 million. Today, more people can independently create, automate deployment, and release software without the need for a full engineering team.
