Henan Province Public Charging Stations Recorded 3.689 Million Charging Sessions During Spring Festival

Recently, the Ruit New Energy Lingshou County 200MW/400MWh standalone ESS project was officially put into operation. This is the world's first power station project to apply 628Ah large energy storage batteries on a large scale, marking the successful grid-level validation of the large battery technology route developed by EVE, and providing a practical technical solution for the high-quality development of the energy storage industry. The Lingshou ESS power station is equipped with 80 sets of 5MWh DC energy storage systems, Mr.Giant, which are minimally integrated with 628Ah large energy storage batteries, as well as 40 sets of integrated step-up converter cabins.

Recently, the Gushanliang 300 MW/1,200 MWh Grid-Forming Hybrid Energy Storage Power Station in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, successfully completed the full-process testing and acceptance of "three charges and three discharges" and officially began grid-connected operation. This station is the only grid-forming project within the local planned total capacity of 3 GW/12.8 GWh energy storage station cluster. It adopts a hybrid energy storage solution combining LFP batteries and all-vanadium flow batteries, efficiently coupled with grid-forming technology, while integrating an AI smart operation system. As a key support period for the Inner Mongolia power grid, the station will provide critical support for regional power stability, helping to enhance new energy integration capacity and grid operation resilience.

[SMM Daily Review: February 27 Spot Lithium Carbonate Prices Edged Down] Today, SMM lithium carbonate prices edged down slightly compared with the previous working day. On the futures side, the most-traded contract dipped below 170,000 yuan/mt after opening, then rebounded to around 173,000 yuan/mt and fluctuated rangebound. In the afternoon session, prices edged up and hovered around 176,000 yuan/mt until the close, with open interest increasing by about 6,400 lots from the previous trading day. In terms of actual transactions, offers from upstream lithium chemical plants remained firm, while willingness to sell spot orders weakened compared with the previous day. Downstream material plants showed some recovery in purchase willingness when prices were at relatively low levels, but most remained cautious and adopted a wait-and-see stance. Overall, market inquiries and transactions remained sluggish.
