Indonesia & the US Sign Agreement to Boost Critical Minerals Investment and Trade

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Indonesia has agreed to facilitate U.S. investment and management in its critical minerals sector, including mining and downstream processing (smelters), with processed products eligible for export back to the U.S. This is outlined in the Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART) signed by President Prabowo Subianto and President Donald Trump on February 19, 2026, in Washington. The deal strengthens supply chain connectivity.
