SHFE Copper 2602 Contract Ends Trading, Inventories Surge Post-Holiday

Today marks the final trading day for the SHFE copper 2602 contract. According to SHFE data, on February 24, copper futures warrants increased by 80,409 mt compared to pre-holiday levels, reaching 277,089 mt. The delivery volume matched with the SHFE copper 2602 contract was 134,600 mt. According to SMM data, on February 24, total copper inventories in mainstream domestic regions amounted to 508,500 mt, an increase of 154,900 mt compared to pre-holiday levels.
