On Feb 19, 2026, driven by market recovery, PLS announced it will restart the Ngungaju lithium plant (~200,000 tonnes annual capacity) at Pilgangoora, WA, in July. A four-month preparation process for production resumption has been initiated. Concurrently, PLS updated timelines for its core expansion projects: the feasibility study for the P2000 project, aiming to boost Pilgangoora's total capacity to ~2 million tonnes/year, is expected by Q4 2026. The Colina project's feasibility study is extended to Q4 2027 to allow for further drilling and technical optimization. The PLS CEO emphasized this low-risk restart and future prudent expansions reflect their disciplined through-cycle strategy and strong focus on investment returns.
