Zambia Seeks Global Investors to Expand Copper Production

Zambia is seeking global mining investment to increase its copper production to about 3 million tonnes by 2031. The country produced around 890,000 tonnes in 2025, missing its initial one-million-ton target. Officials say discussions are ongoing with international investors to expand the mining sector.
