Kubuqi Desert Solar Base Projects Secure NEA Approval, Supporting Coal Power Construction by 2026

On 3 February, the power supply plans for the Kubuqi to Shanghai and Kubuqi to Jiangsu Shagou Desert Base projects received approval from the National Energy Administration, marking a significant milestone in the bases' advancement. Supporting coal-fired power plants are expected to commence construction by the end of 2026.
