SPIC Launches Tender for Da'an Gaseous Hydrogen Storage EPC Project

On March 11, 2026, Fuzhou Public Transport Group, the largest public transportation operator in Fujian Province by scale, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with CATL in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will join hands to explore new development paths for the second half of the public transport electrification journey. This cooperation will focus on four core areas: bus battery aftermarket services, urban battery swap network construction, battery recycling and utilization, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. Addressing the challenges of charging efficiency and battery life following the large-scale deployment of electric buses will be a key focus of the collaboration between the two parties.

On March 11, Putailai disclosed an announcement regarding investing in the construction of an anode material production base in Malaysia. The project, to be undertaken by Zichen Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., involves the construction of an annual 50,000-ton lithium-ion battery anode material production facility, with a planned total investment of 297 million US dollars. The project aims to establish an international production capacity layout, deeply integrate into the global supply chain, serve customers locally, and meet the demands of downstream customers and the terminal market.

On the demand side, the EV battery market has seen order contractions compared to earlier expectations, impacted by lackluster new energy vehicle sales both domestically and internationally.
