SHFE Cast Aluminum Alloy Warrants Down 1,720 mt to 64,454 mt on Feb 27

[SMM News] SHFE data shows that on February 27, the total registered volume of cast aluminum alloy warrants was 64,454 mt, a decrease of 1,720 mt compared with the previous trading day. By region, the total registered volumes were: Shanghai (6,429 mt, down 61 mt), Guangdong (21,847 mt, down 303 mt), Jiangsu (8,679 mt, down 210 mt), Zhejiang (21,582 mt, down 1,116 mt), Chongqing (4,564 mt, down 30 mt), and Sichuan (1,353 mt, unchanged).

US January PPI Surges 2.9% YoY, Core PPI Hits Near One-Year High at 3.6%
US January PPI data showed a YoY increase of 2.9%, exceeding market expectations of 2.6% and close to the previous value of 3%. MoM, it rose 0.5%, also surpassing expectations of 0.3%, with the prior figure revised from 0.5% to 0.4%. For core PPI, the January YoY increase reached 3.6%, hitting a near one-year high, above expectations of 3% and the prior 3.3%. MoM, it rose 0.8%, significantly exceeding market expectations of 0.3%, with the previous figure revised from 0.7% to 0.6%.
