Newmont to Invest $800M in Argentina's Cerro Negro Mine, Extending Operations Until 2035

Argentina's Minister of Economy Luis Caputo said on Tuesday that Newmont will invest approximately $800 million in the Cerro Negro mine in Argentina.

This investment will be used to restart the Cerro Negro Expansion 1 (CNE1) project, extending the mine's operational life until 2035.
