China’s exports of copper clad laminate (CCL) were 8,739.92 mt in January 2026, up 28.33% YoY and up 9.02% MoM; exports were 6,729.49 mt in February, up 14.92% YoY and down 23.00% MoM.

[Copper Foil Customs Data] According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China’s copper foil (HS codes: 74101100, 74102190) imports in January 2026 were 7,133.71 mt, up 15.77% YoY and down 0.69% MoM; February imports were 6,442.72 mt, up 9.55% YoY and down 9.69% MoM. China’s copper foil exports in January 2026 were 6,136.04 mt, up 94.70% YoY and up 13.33% MoM; February exports were 4,820.50 mt, up 59.68% YoY and down 21.44% MoM.

[Copper Ingot Scrap Customs Data] According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China imported 46,800 mt of copper ingot scrap (red/purple copper ingots) (HS code: 74031900) in January 2026, up 24% MoM and up 58% YoY; China imported 50,600 mt of copper ingot scrap (red/purple copper ingots) in February, up 8% MoM and up 46% YoY; cumulative imports of copper ingot scrap (red/purple copper ingots) in January-February 2026 reached 97,300 mt, up 51% YoY on a cumulative basis.
