Electric Power Investment Green Energy Releases EPC Tender for Lishu Green Methanol Project

[SMM Hydrogen Energy Bulletin] On March 12, the hydrogen production engineering EPC tender was released for the Lishu Wind and Solar Power-to-Green Hydrogen Biomass-Coupled Green Methanol Project of Electric Power Investment Green Energy. It was learned that the project is located in the chemical park of Siping New-Type Industrialization Economic Development Zone, Lishu County, Siping City, Jilin Province. It adopts a green hydrogen-coupled biomass gasification process to synthesize 197,200 mt of methanol per year. Construction began in August 2025, and it is expected to be commissioned in September 2027. The project includes three hydrogen production workshops in total. Workshops No. 1 and No. 2 will each be equipped with 12 sets of 1000 Nm³/h alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production units and 3 sets of 4000 Nm³/h hydrogen purification units; Workshop No. 3 will be equipped with 4 sets of 1000 Nm³/h alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production units and 1 set of 4000 Nm³/h gas-liquid separation unit, among others.

On March 11, 2026, the Company convened the 19th meeting of the eighth Board of Directors and approved the investment in and construction of the 99 MW/198 MWh energy storage project in Valcea, Romania through its third-tier holding subsidiary, Greenet Plant S.R.L. The total investment in this project will not exceed EUR 42.8137 million (the final total investment will be subject to the actual investment). The total investment amount involved is the planned investment scale and may be adjusted subsequently based on specific circumstances such as fundraising, project progress, and filing and approval procedures. There is a risk that the actual investment amount may differ from the investment plan.
