[SMM Analysis: A Review of This Week's Cascade Price Trends] This week, prices in the cascade utilization market remained stable. Supply side, although some cascade enterprises have gradually resumed operations, many recycling companies and traders are likely to resume operations around the Lantern Festival. Coupled with a decrease in overall battery cell production compared to pre-holiday levels, the supply of waste battery cells for cascade utilization declined. Demand side, many companies are still using pre-holiday inventory for production and remain cautious about high-priced purchases. Reluctant to buy at high prices, the market sentiment to stand firm on quotes post-holiday has resulted in limited demand, with trading volume remaining sluggish and actual transactions scarce. In the short term, waste battery cell prices for cascade utilization are expected to remain stable. However, with the anticipated growth in battery cell production and retirement volumes, the rising supply may lead to a continued slight decline in prices.
