SHFE Lead Prices down 2.42% (2017-1-20)

SHFE 1703 lead started at RMB 18,370/mt and closed at RMB 17,975/mt, down RMB 445/mt or 2.42%.
SHANGHAI, Jan. 20 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1703 lead started at RMB 18,370/mt and then stabilized. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1703 lead dipped to RMB 17,825/mt with strengthening of shorts and finally closed at RMB 17,975/mt, down RMB 445/mt or 2.42%. Trading volumes were up 8,094 to 69,276 and positions were down 466 to 36,364. Market players exited from commodity market on Friday. Ferrous metals dropped and LME lead fell below all moving averages.
SHFE 1703 lead will not rally in a short term with lack of rising strength.
