SHFE 1703 Zinc Closes with Gains (2017-1-18)

SHFE 1703 zinc rose to RMB 22,540/mt after opening today and reached RMB 22,595/mt. With exit of longs, SHFE 1703 zinc fell to RMB 22,450/mt and closed at RMB 22,395/mt, up RMB 25/mt or 0.11%.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1703 zinc rose to RMB 22,540/mt after opening today and reached RMB 22,595/mt. With exit of longs, SHFE 1703 zinc fell to RMB 22,450/mt and closed at RMB 22,395/mt, up RMB 25/mt or 0.11%.

Trading volumes increased 1,518 lots to 715,000 lots, and positions decreased 9,458 to 200,000. SHFE 1703 zinc is expected to remain strong in the evening session.
